Story Of Change

Anwar is a 5-year-old boy. Coming from an underprivileged family, Anwar’s parents both work as daily labourers, breaking glass.

When Anwar was enrolled in the Creche, the teachers noticed that he rarely spoke or played with the other children. Initially, he was reluctant to participate in activities and showed little interest in lessons. However, after a few months, we noticed remarkable improvement. He gradually developed an interest in learning. His mother shared that every day, Anwar would return home and proudly tell his father the names of different fruits in English. Anwar’s parents aspire for him to build a better future. They attend all meetings and programmes arranged by the Creche.

At present, Anwar actively participates in all activities. He has begun to show good skills in writing and reading. He can recite rhymes, identify flowers, colours, animals, and fruits, and recognise alphabets, numbers, and names. He also takes part enthusiastically in daily celebrations and enjoys them thoroughly. Anwar will be enrolled in a government school this year.
