Tahira attends school as a 5-year-old first-generation student who comes from a family where no one has attended school before. When she enrolled at the Cathy O’Shaughnessy Crèche, she had no writing or reading skills, and her communication and personal hygiene were also underdeveloped. Tahira received little academic help at home because her parents did not have any formal education.
During the rise of COVID-19 cases, when most children could not attend the crèche, Tahira was given special permission to attend classes in person once a week for half an hour, alongside participating in online lessons from home.
The crèche teachers provided assistance to develop her writing abilities. Tahira learned to identify alphabets and write her full name through joyful learning methods. She found the online classes enjoyable while she finished all her weekly worksheets with care. She started reading brief statements while her communication skills and personal cleanliness improved significantly.
Tahira developed into an active and attentive student through her active learning experiences and educational resources and her teacher's dedication.
Tahira showed outstanding development throughout the previous six months because she made significant advancements in personal hygiene and communication skills and writing abilities and reading comprehension. Her parents show pride about her accomplishments while they thank all people who helped her.
